Are There ANY Vehicles Sold ONLY In Europe Or Asia That You WISH Were Sold In The USA?
Every once in a while I see a European vehicle and think wouldn't it be cool to see them driving here in the USA?

But then, I have a hard time of coming up with one that COULD actually be a success here and sell.

I saw this Peugeot review and now that Saab is gone thinking COULD they come here and become the QUIRKY, new SAAB.

What do you think spies? Could they sell? Tell us your thoughts and let us know which ones you wish for...

I think Toyota would be successful selling the very basic Land Cruiser 70 in wagon form in North America. Price it way under the 4Runner and sell it to the outdoors/overlanding crowd.

There are many electrics that are not really available in the US, such as the Honda E, VW ID.3, lower battery capacity and cheaper versions of the e-tron, the MG ZS and MG5 EVs. Also would be great to get Škoda and PSA models in the US.

A genius move for VW would be to sell the ID3 in the USA as the Golf with the GTI being the only ICE Golf.

Honda is dumb as bricks for not selling the E here.

Honda also sells battery powered lawn mowers in the EU, but does not bring them to North America. Not smart.

Lawns of homes in Europe that have lawns are the size of postage stamps--if they aren't estates--so that's perfect.

Definitely the Alpine!

Also the long wheelbase versions of compact and mid size sedans like the 3 and 5 series, C and E class, Audi A4 and A6 etc.

These do well in China and I think there would be a market for them here.

Actually, I have always favored Station wagons (Full size) as the ultimate all purpose car - even over Mini-Vans or Crossovers. Station wagons drive much more like cars than Mini-vans do. And they still make a few in Europe. However - my family days are over and I am in a financial position that I could have any new car from there if I really wanted one.

Having said that, there really isn't any vehicle from there that is not available here. Yes - there are some nice small cars - and an occasional small sports car - but cars are not selling here(ANd small cars don't fit me well) - They really have NO ground breaking Suv's to compete.
So - I don't think they have a basis for really good sales in the USA.

Eventually Chrysler is going to become the new American Peugeot or Citroen or a combination of both - but again, they have little chance until they have ground breaking Suvs.

There are some cool Japanese Domestic Market cars that could succeed in the US. Other than those, nothing from Europe.

Why can't they bring the BMW 1 Series sedan and hatchback to the US? They look hot.
