BMW Calls iX Critics "Boomers" - Do They Not UNDERSTAND Who BUYS Their Vehicles?

BMW Calls iX Critics

It’s safe to assume that BMW was expecting some negative feedback when they revealed the controversial iX but the carmaker’s decision to base their marketing campaign, called “What’s your reason not to change?”, on these criticisms is one bold move, to put it politely.

The German carmaker went as far as using the “Ok Boomer” catchphrase, and meme that went viral in 2019, on its official Twitter account as part of its marketing campaign for the 2022 iX electric SUV.

Its not the battery/electric motors that make this thing hideous.

BMW is so out of touch that they think anything with a BMW logo, which even that has been given a hideous makeover, will sell... DEAD WRONG. Cadillac in the 1970's could do no wrong... and now? BMW could do no wrong in the 90's, been a downhill slide since and this is only going to help speed that up... Quant family is too rich to be in touch with reality and do not know what they are doing and too busy trying to act like royals to mind the shop... BMW management is so insulated from the reality of life they think insulting their core buyer is a good plan. I hope they are awake when the ceiling caves in and the floor gives out at the butt ugly BMW headquarters in Munich, run like rats from a sinking ship

Every car enthusiast wants a light weight, minimal tech analogue driving machine. The buying public wants EV/SUV/incredible 0-60 times and self driving the other times. Oh and China wants the latter.
