WATCH: Audi E-tron Sheds Battery Pack In Violent Crash

Aver wonder what happens to those big battery packs in a severe crash?  The video below shows exactly that when an Audi E-tron is involved in a severe crash and the battery pack is ejected on to the street.

Now this might be an extreme video but shouldn't the battery stay attached rather than become a projectile?
