Hyundai CEO Says White House Apologized After ICE Raid On EV Battery Plant
A White House official reportedly called the Chief Executive Officer of Hyundai Motor Company to apologize after immigration authorities raided the HL-GA Battery Company construction site in Bryan County.
 
During a panel discussion with Bloomberg Tuesday, Hyundai Motor Company CEO José Muñoz said an official apologized for the Sept. 4 raid where over 400 people were detained.
 
The official reportedly told Muñoz they “didn’t know” about the raid.
