Bentleys First EV Shares A Lot Of Porsche DNA

The Volkswagen Group's Premium Platform Electric will spawn the very first series-production Bentley electric vehicle in 2026. First announced in 2024 as the Luxury Urban SUV, the yet-unnamed model has been recently spied inside and out.

 

Pre-series production kicked off at the beginning of November 2025, and this heavily camouflaged prototype shows it. From the production-intent headlights and lower grilles to the mirror caps and the high-quality materials of the cabin, Bentley appears to be putting the finishing touches.

Uglified by the front bumper-mounted adaptive cruise control sensor, the Luxury Urban SUV is a tad smaller than the internal combustion and plug-in hybrid Bentayga. Its cockpit, however, is more Porsche Cayenne Electric with sprinkles of Bentayga and some Audi Q3 for good measure.
