Toyota Plans To Build New $2 Billion Assembly Plant In Texas Employing 2,000 Workers

Toyota Motor North America may build a new $2 billion assembly plant adjacent to its current Texas truck plant with construction starting as early as this year, according to documents filed with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.

 

Toyota's "Project Orca," a $2 billion assembly plant that would employ an estimated 2,000 workers, would be located adjacent to its existing truck plant near San Antonio.
