Mercedes Opens Orders In China For $51,000 All Electric GLC SUV

Mercedes-Benz officially opened pre-orders for its all-new electric GLC in China on June 5, 2026. Built on the brand’s dedicated MB.EA electric platform, the mid-size SUV enters the market with a starting pre-sale price of 349,000 yuan (51,300 USD).

 

The new electric GLC showcases Mercedes-Benz’s design language. The front fascia features a signature retro-style shield grille embedded with 942 individual light units capable of a “breathing” illumination effect. The micro-LED headlights feature daytime running lights that display the iconic Mercedes-Benz logo.
