They showed us the gorgeous Elmiraj and gave us a duller than dull CT6.
They showed us the gorgeous Escala and gave the Aztek inspired CT5.

If I were looking specifically for an American Made car - instead the Highest Volume American made cars that is your list - I would buy a Cadillac CT6 again.
There is no RWD or FWD American Luxury car that competes with it. It is certainly a clear leader over the E class and 5 class as well for interior Room.

However, It is likely I already have my last cars, and I intend to trade in my Chrysler Mini-Van for a new one Later this year after my trip - but they are made in Canada.

Of those models, the Corvette...oh wait...nevermind...they stopped building the Corvette to concentrate on Fieros.

Cadillac is as American as they get (if your concept of American is frozen in about 1988). CT6 is a wonderful (but totally unloved vehicle).

The CT6 is not "wonderful". It is not an embarrassment, but far from wonderful. The problem with Cadillacs is that NOTHING about them is "Cadillac".

I do like the CT6, but they errored on the side of conservative design - some drama and surface tension like the concept cars they had been trotting out would give this car more presense. The interior, while pleasant looks dated, really dated out of the box and terribly luxurious. How can an upsatrt like Genesis roll out great interiors. There are enough great inteiors to use for inspiration without copying.

One of the most "American" and an icon in its own right is the Dodge Challenger. Made with Pride in Ontario, Canada. :-) Happy Canada Day (July 1st).

We would likely gladly trade the NBA cup for an NHL cup, but it will be more fun to earn it. :)
