I saw a picture of a base A6 recently and for a second thought it was a Fusion.

Looks like the Q3 suffered the same fate at the X1, the GLA can’t be killing their sales like that, especially as old as it is, it appears the A Class is eating the A3’s lunch though...
The Q5 has never been more crucial to Audi’s survival

You sir are completely wrong about the Q3. '18s are long gone for about 6 months. The new '19 will be arriving to our showroom early August. Please don't assume if you don't work in the business.

The 19's are arriving on time for the 2020 models to be on sale? #GoAudi

MD - Ya. it should be a very short run. We have 2020 order guides for the Q3 already.

That's really bad planning on Audi's part to be sending 2019's out when the model year is at its end. they should have skipped straight to 2020. Now you'll have to discount deeply to sell "last year's model".

George D, u sir are completely wrong I just called my local
Audi dealer in Cali and he said they have plenty of Q3’s in stock, but the recent recall affecting more than 23,000 units doesn’t help.
Care to comment on that or the significant drop in A3 sales?
U should know more about your product and perhaps if more Audi sales associates focused on selling as much as commenting on a blog, the sales sheets and commissions wouldn’t be in the gutter

Car4 - A3 has been low inventory for a couple months now. new Q3's (2018') dealer shouldn't have them (we haven't had a new one for 5 months now)
Just ran a search (in california) there is only 1 new 2018 in stock. Dealership is in Modesto. White $43k, vin # ends in 4312.
Commissions are just fine good sir. People still by cars new/used....

Lol the A3’s been low on inventory because they aren’t going to ship a boat load of something that isn’t selling, it’s not a specialty car, the thing cost less than 35k with incentives lol
And get to work and off the blog, dial for dollars, check your lease ends, get it together man for Audi’s sake

It appears that the American consumer has finally figured that for half the price of an Audi you can buy the same Volkswagen model and get similarly poor reliability.

Audi's stagnant exterior design has really come back to haunt it. Buyers are gravitating towards Mercedes-Benz and BMW since an Audi bought today looks just like the same model from 15 years ago.

But I thought this was the totally new, all-different, bold styling language invented by Marc Lichte.

Lewis Black once said the easiest job in the world is a weatherman in San Diego. Designer at Audi must be a close second.

Actually the 2019 Q3 which is new is going on sale soon hence why the older Q3s are being cleaned out.

I was somewhat surprised at how low A8 sales were.
The A3 is a GTI with a lowere roof (less headroom) and a less interesting interior and a $10,000 higher price.
The only good news for Audi is that their sales tend to be skewing toward the higher priced models. Confirming that consumers are figuring out you can ahve a slightly larger/better contented VW for the same money.

The A8 is essentially an Audi Avalon for twice the price it should be.

And twice the quality issues. But, at least the service is expensive so you get the full luxury experience.
