Happy July 4th! To Celebrate America, We've Gotta Know: What's Your FAVORITE American Vehicle Out TODAY?
Happy July 4th, Spies!

Today's a great day for everything America. So, break out your stilts, a white beard and the 'ol top hat a la Uncle Sam. OK, maybe you don't have to go that far.

We're thankful we get to run an automotive website in the greatest country in the world. We like to think of it as a wholly American product.

Which brings me to the subject of this brief post. As a way to celebrate the birth of our nation, we'd like to loop in the American car culture — this is an automotive site, after all.

What is YOUR favorite American vehicle on the market today?

We're limiting this to all-new autos you can purchase at a dealer today.

Given that you work for Elon as you do, you may need to borrow a trick from Kamala Harris which is to use your index finger to wipe your lips when you finish the "conversation".

I saw Trump wipe his lips in this same manner coming out of his G20 meeting with Putin.

A Local Cadillac Dealer has a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible that has NEVER BEEN REGISTERED OR SOLD - on her showroom floor. Even though I already have one - you can never have too many of these. Not even a new Rolls Phantom has the same presence.

But I would guess she is unlikely to sell it so I guess I will have to pick the Cadillac CT6 V Blackwing. I Liked my early CT6 which I got when they first came out - and this one is so much better with the new engine.

Mustang GT... performance, power, presence.. all at a value price.

Corvette Stingray, Mustang, Lincoln Nautilus.
The CT6 Blackwing is a distant 4th, but needs a much improved interior.
And a shout out to the Charger Demon.

Any restomod 70's muscle car with updated suspension, brakes, and a crate engine.

You may prefer to drive the restomod, but if you want the car to retain its value, NOS (new old stock) will new you more return.
