ROUGH JUSTICE? This Dude Tried To CarJack The WRONG Car. And Ended Up DEAD. What Should Happen Now?

A 54-year-old man who police say stole a vehicle left running with three young children inside was beaten to death in Philadelphia by the kids’ parents and onlookers after he got stuck in traffic.

The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. Thursday night in the city’s Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, where a yet-unidentified man reportedly got into a running car with a 7-month-old, an 18-month-old, and a 5-year-old in the backseat after the children’s 25-year-old mother got out of the car to speak to the children’s father at a pizza parlor where he worked.

The would-be car thief then drove several blocks while the father, also unidentified, gave chase and pulled the man out of the vehicle when the car got stuck in traffic, according to a local NBC affiliate. The suspect then ran about half a block before the father, the mother, and a group of apparent bystanders caught up and started beating him. He later died at a local hospital from severe injuries to his head, officials said.

What should happen now? They should give the guy who saved his kids a medal.

The Mom, Pop and the bystanders who administered the much needed beat down of the vermin should all get a reward check from Crime Stoppers for making society better and safer off in his absence. Bravo!

How is this possibly car news! Just because it happened in a car? More actual car news, less tragedy porn.

I love these stories. The good guys win, the scumbag isn't around to bother anyone else, no one had to sit through hours of some lame defense in court, and some crappy judge didn't get to overall the prosecution's recommendation and give the guy a slap on the wrist.

I keep a Ruger Redhawk and a "Cal-compliant" AR15 strictly for display purposes at my home.

The unpopular opinion and one the is much closer to how the law works is that the guy stole a car and found that there were kids in it. He was killed by a crowd for stealing a car. He didn't hurt anyone and was not armed.

The law does not protect people who chase after criminals and kill them. Somebody will likely face a manslaughter charge at least. They should have just held him down until the police came to arrest him. Hard to do in the moment but it avoids being charged and jailed for murder.

If he's black, he's innocent too.

The crowd and/or whoever participated will be charged with 2nd degree murder or voluntary manslaughter, this is vigilantism at its fullest. In addition, stealing a car doesn't justify payment with one's life, the severity of the crime does not equate the punishment.

For those idiots cheering this event here, let's suppose your son/brother/husband/etc. steals a car, then gets promptly beaten to death, will you cheer his death and recommend the killers be given a medal? Yea, that's what I thought. Retards will be retards...
