2020 Audi A3 Lineup Will Give Birth To Seven Models

Audi chairman Bram Schott has granted production approval to the new A3 ahead of its UK introduction in early 2020.

However, it will be another year before sporting variants of the new fourth-generation Audi model – including a rapid 417bhp RS3 with a new mild-hybrid drivetrain and revised electro-hydraulic four-wheel drive system – challenge rivals from Mercedes-AMG and BMW M.

As long as Audi can deliver the 5 new 3 class car at popular prices, they will have runaway success. Smaller SUV's and sportbacks are in super high demand.

What do you mean 'just a Golf.' You are showing your error in judgement.
Audi is owned by VW. They are both using the new state of the art Volkswagen Group MQB platform. Standard power trains are also shared. They are also world class, state of the art engines and transmissions.
I guess you also think that Porsche is also just a VW.

An A3 is a Golf with a lower roofline and dramatically higher price tag. Exactly the same mechanical bits, but the Golf has more space and I think a more interesting interior.
The Q3 is a highrise Golf.

My neighbor down the street had a white A3 Sedan. It is a really small car. She recently replaced it with a Lexus IS.
