Bringing tariffs down from 3-6% to zero isn't really something to write home about. Nor will it change a trade deficit driven by consumer tastes. This is lower hanging fruit deal while the US team works on a deal with China. That deal could take until 2021 or longer.

The economy has been on an uninterrupted trajectory since the end of the great recession brought about by Obama administration policies. Nothing Trump has done has changed that trajectory. The only thing he has accomplished is exploding the debt by 60 percent during a growth phase. It will explode more during the upcoming recession.
His supporters say he has improved the economy. He has done nothing of the sort. It is just a continuation of trends already in place. Read articles from multiple sources.
