SPIED + VIDEO: The Next-gen Land Rover Defender Gets Nabbed In One Of The MOST UNLIKELY Places...
Automakers like Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche are known for their extreme testing procedures. They take developmental prototypes across the globe and rack up millions of miles before shipping products.

It's pretty amazing to see these autos in the Arctic, Death Valley and, sometimes, even the world famous Nürburgring.

When it comes to the all-new Land Rover Defender though, I think it's safe to say we didn't expect it to make a trip to The Green Hell. We understand its driving dynamics should be in check but, uh, this seems a bit out of place.

The Defender's primary purpose is for utility and off-roading. Although we know many drivers based in the States may not indulge in the latter, that was why the Defender was originally conceived.

That said, if you've been DYING to see a box make its way around the 'Ring, look no further, Spies!

I see tipsy vehicles howling around corners at slow speed with engines sounding like they are huffing and puffing.

Holy sh*t. Land Rover's PR Department should work overtime to suppress this video. Pitiful.

Sales of Land Rover have been down around the world
I looks like their unreliability is starting to catch up with them - again.

calling Toyota, bring back a modern FJ40 (not an fj cruiser) simple, robust and indestructible, price it at $35k up to $50k to start and put this silly defender to bed

Toyota has a Land Cruiser 70 which is the same type of vehicle as the old Defender. Still looks like it did when the latest version came out in 1984. Not sure what it would take to make it able to be sold in North America, but it is still for sale in other markets.

Toyota should make Land Cruiser a stand-alone 4X4 BRAND aimed at Land Rover and sold through Lexus dealers. The quality difference alone between Land Cruisers and the crap the Indians are squirting from their intestinal cavity as Land Rovers would be astounding.

Have you seen what Indians eat? No wonder their intestines put out these products.
The real issue is that Indian culture holds no one accountable. I've been there and had to deal with our affiliates. Problems are never really problems and excuses are used instead of solutions.
They will always be a "developing" country.
Tara has owned JLR for how long and the quality gets worse.
