The GOP had control of both houses and the Presidency - but no flood of legislation came to be to help the American people. They could not decide on anything with all that control.

An unneeded $1Trillion dollar tax cut was passed with no offsetting spending cuts which used to be how the GOP paid for things. This made rich people and corporations even more rich. And but the US even farther into debt.

No infrastructure bill, No healthcare bill, No tax reform, No immigration reform, No border wall, No gun related legislation, no new election process protections, no protection from gerrymandering etc.. The list goes on and on.

One warmed over redux of NAFTA that to this day only Mexico has ratified. :/

Canadian-Regarding your comment that Trump got nothing done...do you even live in the USA and realize how successful our economy and job market have gotten as a result of the Tax Reform plan? The US has set many records including the lowest ever unemployment for blacks and Hispanics, and matched a 70-year low for women. Wages are rising, manufacturing jobs overall have come back (which Obama said would never happen), and on and on. The reason for this boom is a Direct result of reducing the corporate tax rate to encourage foreign investment in US companies, and the many Obama-era regulations that were ended by Trump.

This alone is a legacy-making accomplishment, but Trump has done way more. He has went after ISIS and we have seen a global slowdown in terror attacks (ISIS grew by 4400% under Obama). He has passed Criminal Justice reform...something many other Presidents said they would do but never did. He has taken on unfair trade agreements and gotten many changed to be more fair to the US.

The list goes on and on...but you can keep pretending that nothing has gotten done in the US. The best indicator that Trump has changed the trajectory of this nation is looking at the Real Clear Politics aggregate Right Track/Wrong Track trends. The variance between those who thought the country was on the right track vs wrong track was over 40 points much of Obama's 2nd term, and in some months over 70% of US voters felt Obama had the country headed in the wrong direction. Trump has cut that variance by more than half, with a sharp rise in those feeling the country is heading in the right direction.

Trump has also created such turmoil with the whole NAFTA relationship that any company looking to expand to North America will only consider locating in the US to avoid being shut out of the worlds largest market if NAFTA were to be dissolved -another brilliant "accidentally on purpose" Trump strategy. This alone has cost Canada dearly as evidenced in many of our own companies are opting to expand production in the US rather than here on home soil.

The "Buy American" provisions of Federal Funding (albeit illegal and a clear violation of NAFTA) have been ushered in with iron fist from Trump and is costing Canadian firms dearly that have traditionally supplied the US steel, pipe, machinery and other commodities -thus fueling more US jobs. Another HUGE win for the US and a clear demonstration of the fucking incompetence of Jew hating Mohamed Trudeau and his amateur hour government that should be fighting for Canadian interests and whom totally botched NAFTA 2.0 for us Canucks.

Trump is a crude, rude, braggadocious dude but very effective POTUS despite having half of the GOP working against him. Imagine what could be done if the whole party were to unite and fully support him? Must be nice to have REAL leadership. Trump 2020!
