We really have no way of knowing for sure when Tesla will be able to officially release its Full Self-Driving technology. CEO Elon Musk continues to tout the tech and share that it's coming sooner rather than later. However, he's also clear to point out that there are many challenges. Even if Tesla gets to the point that it feels it's ready to roll out the autonomous system, there will likely be regulatory issues, among other roadblocks.

That huge center stack LCD screen is a MAJOR danger feature. It is a clear distraction which takes driver focus, driver attention, and driver time AWAY from the road.
Teslas are dangerous cars to drive. That is a fact.

I can semi agree on that, too many cars are going this route. Tesla definitely should have a HUD for basic driving info. I think a lot of vehicles have moved secondary controls to these touch screens. I would like to see at least major secondary controls have buttons or knobs operable by touch/feel, such as the HVAC systems. Radio is probably ok on the steering wheel, but some things can't logically move to steering wheel controls and those that are frequently accessed should not require you to take your eyes off the road.

Almost every car has a screen these days. Would you rather have a tiny screen where actions are harder to find or a bigger one that is intuitive and well laid out?
