The Eureka Police Department has a hard time dealing with the number of stolen Kias, and a recent release describing a typical November night for patrol officers certainly confirms that no Kia or Hyundai is safe when parked outside.

 

It all started at approximately 5 AM when the patrol officers received a report of an attempted theft. The targeted car was – you guessed it – a Kia, with the thief believed to have tried the infamous TikTok vulnerability that went viral in 2022.
