Every year since 1967, the world has gotten used to starting a new year with an avalanche of promises from the world of technology and innovation, thanks to that insane industry event held in Las Vegas, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The same happens this year as well, only this time the feeling is that the show is not about technology per se, but about how it will reshape the course of human history.

 

There are plenty of novelties being presented on the floor of the Las Vegas Convention Center, from smartphones to smart cars, but what drew my attention on this first day is the plan South Korean carmaker Hyundai announced to make humanoid robots a constant presence in our lives.
