If you didn’t have New Technical Director on your 2026 Audi bingo card, you weren’t paying attention to recent history.

 

The other Bavarian automaker just brought on Rouven Mohr as its R&D boss, plucked back to Ingolstadt after a three-year stint as Technical Director at Audi’s supercar brand, Lamborghini.

 

Mohr oversaw two new Lamborghini hybridized models in his stint in Sant’Agata Bolognese, and he replaces auto industry outsider Geoffrey Bouquot in the board position.
