The reimagined Lotus Esprit Series 1 from Essex-based Encore will be powered by a 400bhp 3.5-litre V8 – and a new video has been released of it in action for the first time.
The “remastering” has been created as a homage to the 1970s original, “refined” with a new carbonfibre body, modern technologies and its 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol swapped out for the twin-turbocharged, flat-plane V8 from the Series 4 – albeit completely rebuilt.
