The Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan flew over a mound of earth in China in an odd accident. The vehicle was cruising with the LCC system turned on and failed to stop in front of the obstacle autonomously. At the same time, the driver wasn’t paying enough attention to the road.

 

According to Sina, the accident happened on June 13, while the Xiaomi SU7 was driving on Highway 331 with the LCC (Lane Centering Control) function working. After passing the bend in the road, a large mound of earth appeared on the road in front of the car. However, the SU7 did not slow down nor apply the autonomous emergency braking (AEB) function.
