BYD delivered the 100,000th car in the UK, becoming the fastest brand to reach a 5% market share in the market, the company’s Executive VP shared. At the same time, the company launched and checked the UK’s first flash charger, aiming to install 300 more of such chargers by the end of 2026.

 

BYD handed over the 100,000th car to a client on June 17, the company’s Executive Vice President, He Zhiqi, shared on Weibo social media. The car in the photo is covered with cloth. However, we are confident it is the BYD Atto 2 crossover (known in some regions as Yuan Up or Yuan Pro). It could be easily distinguished by a high bonnet line and a slightly slanted windshield.
