There's something going on at Land Rover. JLR confirmed to CarBuzz that it issued a stop-sale that affects the Defender, Discovery, and Range Rover models. The issue is related to the airbag systems in the vehicles, but as of right now, there are far more questions than answers surrounding the problem. Here's what we know so far.

 

JLR is issuing a recall on the driver's airbag system in certain Range Rover, Discovery, and Defender models. The Drive initially reported on the recall, and CarBuzz confirmed the news with a JLR spokesperson. However, the exact number of vehicles in the recall is unknown. The automaker is "voluntarily conducting a recall to address a potential issue affecting the driver’s airbag system in certain Range Rover, Discovery and Defender vehicles manufactured between April 2019 and June 2026," a spokesperson said in a statement.
