Over six months ago, a report by RV RoadSigns, prepared by ITR Economics, mentioned that the forecast for 2026 RV shipments would rise to a median of around 349,000 units. By the end of 2025, that number had reached 342,200 units. It looked like things were on the up and up, but things have changed.

   

A recent report from ITR Economics, the Summer 2026 edition of RV RoadSigns, prepped for the RV Industry Association, mentions that there has been a revision to the forecasted number representing growth for the RV industry.
