An entitled New Hampshire Democrat lawmaker who was allegedly caught speeding twice on the same highway has argued that she shouldn't be held to the same driving laws as her constituents. 

 

State Representative Ellen Read, 46, was clocked zooming at 107mph in a 65-mph zone in December 2024, and in June last year, a deputy clocked her at 92mph.

 

She was issued a citation in both cases, but the lawmaker, who is running for re-election, claimed that the deputies had no right to charge her.
