Honda is trying to evade the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration on imported goods and is planning to build a new factory in the United States. It would be Honda's eighth vehicle assembly in North America.

    

While Honda operates 12 distinct manufacturing facilities in the United States, producing various components, such as separate engine, transmission, and specialized parts plants, it currently has seven primary vehicle assembly plants across the entire North American continent.
