Fast forward to present day, and we get to see this model yet again. By the looks of it, it might be the range-topping flavor currently known as the M35i. After all, it features blue brake calipers, has four exhaust pipes, and what seems to be a slightly more aggressive overall design on the outside due to the sportier-looking front and rear bumpers.

 

If the latest information is correct, and our spy photographers seem to believe so, then this model might not be known as the M35i xDrive anymore. In fact, unofficial intel suggests that it could be called the BMW X2 M40i xDrive. And such a name change should inevitably suggest that more power is on deck. Otherwise, it wouldn’t make much sense, would it?
