The Cadillac F1 team leans heavily on its American identity, but it’s very much a multinational operation. Support comes from both sides of the pond in both the U.S. and the U.K. In fact, the team is currently based in Silverstone, but it’ll eventually relocate the bulk of its operations to the States, and staff are apparently being told that relocating isn’t optional.
F1 photographer Kym Illman discussed the revelation with journalist Jacky Martens in a recent podcast. Yes, the Cadillac F1 team is currently rooted in the U.K., but it will soon be based out of Fishers, Indiana. Illman explained that workers are allegedly being given a choice: move to the States, or lose their jobs.
