If there’s one thing YouTuber WhistlinDiesel knows, it’s how to turn expensive vehicles into scrap metal in spectacular style. For the finale of his three-part Cybertruck vs F-150 durability series, the YouTuber subjected Tesla’s electric pickup and its Ford rival to off-road torture and other automotive indignities before sending it into an F-150 at triple digit speeds.

 

This wasn’t exactly an IIHS-approved procedure. The team modified the Cybertruck so it could be driven remotely, with mechanical actuators operating its controls. But before reaching that explosive finale, the Cybertruck endured a miserable trip to Moab. A towing module came loose and disabled the Tesla barely into the off-road adventure, while the F-150 continued tackling trails, even running around on three wheels before torn wiring eventually stopped play.
