Early during the first hours of August 2026, Kia Motors announced the positive sales results of its division in America, as the company posted record figures in July 2026 across the US automotive market. They sold a total of 75,857 units last month, up seven percent year-over-year. Overall, the US division had 506,584 deliveries through July, an increase of four percentage points over the same period last year, putting Kia “on track to set its fourth consecutive annual sales record.”

 

Well, Hyundai doesn’t want to fall behind, and on the same day, they reported total July 2026 sales of 82,480 units, an increase of four percentage points compared to last year. It’s also the best-ever July sales month for the brand. The Tucson family alone jumped 20% year over year, “while continued momentum across its SUV portfolio underscored the strength of Hyundai's balanced lineup of cars, SUVs and electrified vehicles.”
