Reports about the Ford Mustang receiving two additional doors have been doing the rounds, and now, a meeting between Ford executives and dealers in Las Vegas suggests the car could materialize in a few years. The dealers, who were shown a prototype of the four-door Mustang, noted that the car was inspired by the Porsche Panamera in many ways.

 

The Mustang has been a two-door sports coupe since it first hit the roads in 1964, but now, according to a report by Ford Authority, things are about to change. At the meeting, Ford showed the dealers an early prototype of the four-door Mustang on stage during the event, offering them an idea of what could arrive at their dealerships in a few years.
