Lucid Motors has just rolled out one of the world’s most powerful and quickest SUVs, which puts it in the same league as the Porsche Cayenne Turbo Electric. With 1,070 horsepower on tap, the Lucid Gravity GT-S can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds, which is basically supercar territory.

   

Lucid says its high-performance electric SUV is inspired by the Lucid Air Sapphire. But while the Sapphire gets away with a mind-blowing 1,234 horsepower (1,251 metric horsepower), the Gravity GT-S stops at “just” 1,070 (1,084 metric horsepower).
