When Lexus first announced the TZ, its all-electric three-row sibling to the Toyota Highlander EV and Subaru Getaway, it was supposed to have 402 horsepower. Now that Lexus finally release the full list of powertrain specs and pricing, it seems the Lexus TZ450e will start at under $65,000 and only have 308 horsepower from its dual-motor powertrain. Not only is that almost 100 fewer horses than previously claimed, it's considerably less powerful than the Subaru's 420 horsepower setup. It's even weaker than the 338-horsepower dual-motor Toyota Highlander EV. 

 

The base model TZ450e Premium starts at $64,050, but neither Toyota nor Subaru have announced pricing for their respective versions. So it isn't clear just yet how good of a value the Lexus represents, but it'll likely be the most luxurious of the three by far because it's, ya know, a Lexus. There's an online configurator for the new TZ, so you can play with pricing if you want to see how much yours will cost. But there are two trim levels above the Premium; Premium Touring ($72,050) and Luxury ($80,550).
