As we move further into 2023, a question looms over the US electric vehicle (EV) market: are EV sales, other than those of Tesla, grinding to a halt? While Tesla continues to dominate the market with a 60% share, other automakers have been introducing new electric models each year, with ambitious plans to capture a significant share of the US EV market.

But based on the inventory piling up around the country from brands like Mercedes, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, VW, BMW and Audi, things look like the brakes have been hit by potential non-Tesla EV customers.
