General Motors Co. said Wednesday its new 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport will start at $59,995 when it hits showrooms this fall.
The rear-wheel drive CTS Vsport features GM’s first twin-turbo 3.6-liter V-6 engine and is paired with an eight-speed transmission. The engine is capable of generating 420 horsepower and 430 foot-pounds of torque.
GM said the new Cadillac CTS Vsport achieved a record lap of 8:14.10 at Germany’s Nürburgring track, nearly six seconds faster than Cadillac’s first generation CTS-V that had a larger V-8 engine.
