Likely the most hyped and most followed car making its Detroit Auto Show debut was the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. It's no surprise that one of America's automotive icons garnered a significant chunk of attention at one of the U.S.' biggest auto events.

On Sunday when it finally was revealed in the flesh, we have to say that we were impressed. Though the sketches and drawings we had prior to the official reveal were pretty damn accurate, it's completely different to see it in the metal. And considering Agent 001 shoots the best photos in the biz, it really made it a new experience.

And while we examined the comments and looked closely at the new car ourselves, it was readily apparent that the all-new Corvette boasted a similar look to its American bredrin, the SRT Viper.

While its side profile and hind quarters are completely different, both cars do share similar-looking faces. The LED headlights and wide mouths — more or less — seem to be the features that drive this on home.

That said, I've got to ask:

Do the all-new Chevrolet Corvette and SRT Viper look took similar in the "face" department?
