The 2009 German JD Power Survey has released the results and Daihatsu emerged as the winner, beating Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW. Daihatsu, the small Toyota sub-companies which succeeded in selling only 13,726 cars last year in the German market, came out ahead of Alfa Romeo and Mercedes, who were tied in second place.
Performing worse than last year are BMW and Audi, where BMW finished fourth and Audi fell to fifth place where it tied with Toyota. BMW and Audi got second and fourth place, respectively, in last year’s survey. Finishing last and second to the last out of 27 vehicles are Smart and Chevrolet, respectively.
