One theory...
"I suspect it is due to uncertainty over the Reconciliation Bill before Congress. The climate portion could contain language on new BEV purchase incentives that could influence buying patterns (rebates based on MSRP, etc.). It makes sense for Ford to wait out that uncertainty."
