In spite of numerous appearances by Lexus IS300s and its twin sibling Toyota Altezza in many a video game, it was only late last year that Lexus announced its first officially-sanctioned video game appearance in Atari's Test Drive Unlimited game for the Xbox 360™ system from Microsoft.
A new video game for the Xbox 360™ is in the works: Forza Motorsport™ 2, which is due to be released on Tuesday 29 May 2007. While it hasn't been accompanied by an official Lexus press release the way Test Drive Unlimited was, it nevertheless features several Lexus IS vehicles.
One pleasant surprise the game brings is the inclusion, along with the expected regular-production 1st and 2nd generation Lexus ISs (and their Japanese Toyota Altezza siblings) of the "2003 Lexus Foose Design IS430 Project Car".
