Automotive News is reporting that GM is serious about adding a Cadillac CTS coupe and wagon to its already popular CTS lineup. The 2008 Cadillac CTS Sedan will be unveiled officially at the NAIAS show in Detroit in a few weeks. The 2008 Cadillac CTS is expected to have a 3.6 liter V6 engine producing between 280 and 300 horsepower to stay in competition with Infiniti G35, BMW 3-Series and Lexus IS models.

GM has been planning a Cadillac CTS coupe for some times now to compete with Infiniti and BMW, but the addition of a CTS wagon to the lineup shows that GM is looking to gain serious popularity for the CTS in Europe and other parts of the world.
