Porsche AG formed a partnership with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. to deploy artificial intelligence across its operations in a deal valued at 1.25 billion euros ($1.5 billion). The German automaker will also sell its consulting business to the Indian software services firm.
 
The five-year agreement will bring AI technology to Porsche’s engineering, manufacturing, operations and customer experience areas, TCS said Monday. As part of the broader arrangement, TCS will acquire Porsche’s Germany-based consulting unit MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH for an enterprise value of 320 million euros.
