If you don't recall, it was only so long ago that Agent 001 stumbled across an intriguing looking prototype in southern California. He noticed it was pretty big and was head-to-toe in camouflage.
Then after snapping a ton of pictures, it became clear that the mystery sport-utility vehicle was, in fact, the next-generation Mercedes-Benz M-Class undergoing testing.

Now, thanks to an AutoSpies reader, we've got some new shots of the next-gen ML in SoCal still going through testing.

Hi 001,
I saw what looked like the new ML on the road in Redondo Beach today.
It was quite clearly a Mercedes, with CL looking headlamps, signature
side marker lights in the mirrors, and similar proportions to the
current ML.
The rear end has the XC90/Cayenne pear shaped horizontal line/hips...
I've seen you post pics of this already, just thought these might be a
good addition.
