A lot of people can’t tell the difference between the Mazda CX-7 and the CX-9. The two cars may have similar looks, but each is completely different.

The CX-9 shares nothing major with the CX-7. Both cars are built on different wheel bases. The CX-9 is built on the same platform as the Ford Edge/Lincoln MKS. The CX-7 is built on a stretched platform of the Mazda 6.

You may not be able to tell the two cars apart from a bad quality photo, but you will when you see it in person next to the CX-7. The CX-7 is small, no larger than the Mazda 6. The CX-9 is bigger just a bit bigger than the MPV minivan. The Overall length of the CX-9 is 199.6" and the CX-7 is 184.0".

In conclusion what I am trying to say is that people think that the CX-9 is the same thing as the CX-7, but its not. People aren’t respecting the fact that they are two complete different cars!

The Mazda CX-9 isn't just an oversized CX-7!
