Top Gear is a globally recognized brand at this point. Sure, there are certain countries that have been graced with their very own edition of the tremendously popular motoring program, but in reality, none of them are even a fraction as good as the original.

That's just how the cookie crumbles, folks.

Thankfully, it appears that the original three — Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May — will be returning to the small screen soon as they were all captured while filming the next season of the series. Roaming around Ukraine in a Volkswagen UP!, Ford Fiesta and Dacia Sandero, respectively, we bet that this episode that leads the boys to Chernobyl — that's what the rumormill is saying — will be entertaining, enlightening and moving.

If my memory serves me correctly, film crews have been able to head back into the wasteland's most dangerous places as radiation levels have come down in recent time; however, it is still uninhabitable terrain.

[EDIT: Turns out tourists can obtain day passes and on-site construction workers are allowed to work in the area for a set number of hours per month.]
