Try as they might to convince us, governments are wrong to suggest that the only future the automobile has is pure battery-electric. The reality, is a multi-pathway solution to carbon neutrality that includes solutions like synthetic fuels to keep combustion alive, hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen combustion, battery electrics, and a variety of hybrids. Not many automakers have embraced this philosophy to the fullest, with many choosing an either-or approach to the future of mobility. But one has embraced a multitude of propulsion systems and boasts the most diverse powertrain portfolio on sale in the US today.
