Last week was a bit of a circus in New York City. You just had to be at the UN to see the three-rings in full effect.

Probably the climax of the week came when a 16-year-old climate activist, Greta Thunberg, took attendees to task for failing to address climate change. Thunberg then noted that due to politicians inaction, they had effectively ruined her childhood.

Hyperbolic much?

After seeing the lamestream media lovefest for Thunberg, I couldn't help but wonder if anyone would stand up and ask the $60,000 question: Who the hell does this child — who has no real life experience — think she is to lecture anyone about what's going on?

It turns out not all hero wear capes, Spies. In fact, some guzzle pints and chain smoke. Enter Jeremy Clarkson. The Grand Tour's most famous presenter knocked Thunberg down a peg or two.

As far as we can tell it doesn't appear Amazon has canceled The Grand Tour yet, so, perhaps there's hope for us all.

In the speech, she accused everyone in the room of ruining her childhood by forcing her to take on the responsibility of making change to our climate to save our planet but now The Grand Tour host has slammed the teenager and suggested she needed to think about everything that adults have done for her.

‘How dare you sail to America on a carbon fibre yacht that you didn’t build which cost £15million, that you didn’t earn, and which has a back-up diesel engine that you didn’t mention,’ he said in a column for The Sun.

‘Pause for a moment to consider how soundly you sleep at night, knowing that adults are building and servicing and flying Sweden’s fighter planes. To keep you safe. We gave you mobile phones and laptops and the internet. We created the social media you use every day and we run the banks that pay for it all,’ he added.

‘So how dare you stand there and lecture us, you spoilt brat.’
