General Motors Corp. wants a bigger share of the hot crossover market, with its vast growth potential and attractive demographics.
The sleek-but-powerful Buick Enclave marks the automaker's latest and, some say, most promising attempt to gain some of that market while reviving a brand that has been losing customers for years.
The vehicle debuts tonight in Los Angeles in conjunction with the L.A. Auto Show, which opens to the press Wednesday.
"This is the best evidence to date of how great a Buick can be," Buick General Manager Steve Shannon said at a recent event introducing the media to the Enclave.
