Two unlikely partners in engine development, BMW and the PSA group, which comprises Peugeot and Citroen, have been so pleased with their current agreement they’re planning to expand it. The companies will complete a study to examine the technological, production, and financial benefits of developing more engines together and if both parties are happy, move ahead with the development of a new range of four-cylinder engines that are expected to be around 2.0L in size.
We thought all of this "independent" talk, from BMW meant they won't share anything with anyone. Maybe their idea of independent and ours are different.
