As we reported on in September, Chrysler has found a partner for its small-car initiative. DCX and Chinese manufacturer Chery have signed a partnership to build a small car in China; the deal will become official pending DCX board and Chinese government approval. The car will be a Chrysler Group product, although it’s not clear at this point which brand will receive it. Signs point to this being the coming out party for the Dodge Hornet, or something close to it, which debuted at Geneva in 2006.
