Volvo Cars of North America, LLC (VCNA) reports sales of 8,542 units in the United States* for the month, representing a decrease of 6.2 percent compared to the same period last year.
For the year, sales were down 6.3 percent in the US.
Overall in North America (United States, including Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico), Volvo sales were off 7.7 percent for the month, with 9,357 units sold. In Canada, 558 units were sold, while Mexico recorded sales of 257.
Full year sales in North America trailed last year by 7.5 percent, with a total of 128,695 units sold in 2006.
